Physical Reader Profiles

The purpose of this maintenance function is to allow you to define those RFID Readers you have acquired to the Reader Management Module. Once defined, they can be associated with a logical reader location and then log Tag reads (a.k.a. RFID ‘events’) within the Filtering and Collection Module. Once a given Reader Profile is created it can be easily copied to speed the deployment in a production basis and lessen keystrokes.

	Position to
	Enables a position-to feature, enter the starting value then click the [Search] button

	Next Page
	Pages forward to the next page

	Add new Reader Profile
	Click this button to add a new reader profile

	Refresh
	Clicking this button will refresh the page and reposition the list to the first alphabetical Reader ID

	Physical Reader Profile
	This list entry indicates an occurrence of a Reader Profile

Action Links

These hyper-links perform the following functions (click each one to jump to that section)

Change	Change properties for a given Physical Reader profile
Copy	Copy an existing Physical Reader profile as a quick way to create a similar profile
Delete	Removes the Physical Reader profile from the system
Configure	Updates those optional properties specified in the Physical Reader profile
View	Allows inquiry mode only on the Physical Reader profile
Interrogate	Brings the user to the Interrogate Physical Reader screen
Activity	Brings the user to the Physical Reader Tag Activity screen
