Tag Mapping Table
The Tag mapping associations are the foundation of how TagNet links Tag ID’s with their respective Object Identifiers (Products, Containers, Assets, and Personnel). Note: EPC’s are automatically mapped to their respective GTIN’s as a result of decoding the EPC nomenclature and are not required to be entered here. This associative table is automatically populated by the base AssetTrack module or the TagNet Server Commission/Map function through a very controlled process; however it can be displayed for informational/audit purposes or direct maintenance. Caution: Only experienced users should attempt to maintain this data directly as improper updates can have a huge effect on all operations of TagNet.
To enforce business rules, a System Setting of ‘Validate Tag Mappings’ is set to *YES by default. It can be set to *NO to enable unhindered mappings where necessary.
Search |
|
Initiates the search based on the inputted values. It is important to note the priority of the search input field 1) TagID 2) Container ID, then (3) Item ID. The first non-blank value will be executed in that order and the rest will be cleared (so it is clear to user what the search results were based on). |

Add/Create |
