Tag Commissioning & Mapping
The purpose of this function is to allow you to Commission Tags and/or Map them to Object ID’s such as products, Assets or employees. Why would you need to do this? Most Tags (paper or rigid) come pre-commissioned with the same repetitive number. Each tag has to have a unique number so it can be ‘uniquely’ identified by TagNet (or any other RFID systems). Additionally that unique Tag ID needs to be ‘mapped’ (associated) to an object ID.
